Description: This vintage traditional doll in the Yajiro style is thought to be by artisan Minao Sato. Yajiro style Kokeshi are known for their striking colors and more modern body shape (slender yet stable) (source 1). Yajiro dolls are also known for their “hats” which are created by painted circles often in a variety of colors a top their heads.
Condition: This doll is in very good condition with only minor scuff marks on the main body and minor scuffs on the head.
