Yamagata kokeshi are defined by their delicate red linework on top of the head, a regional hallmark passed down through generations of Tohoku woodworkers. At 8" tall and slender, it's a perfect starter piece or a lovely addition to an existing collection.
Condition: Very good. Minor scratch on the head and lightly faded paint.
